The Mind Behind it All

My name is Guthrie Brown and I consider myself a versatile soul, a true jack-of-all-trades, and a weaver of diverse passions. Over the years, I’ve been working to blend my passions for hairstyling and artistry, along with my deep commitment to making our world a little brighter. My goal is to bring a bit of balance to the chaos of existence, using whichever of my skills is necessary to create positive change for all who share this world.

What’s This Place?

Simply a space for all my creative musings, outlets, and a bottleneck attempt at better organizing my life; which also happens to be my career. What started as a world separate from my “professional self”, became a valuable asset to helping me get a more defined, larger dream— combining all my worlds into a business.

Hair

What simply started as a way to take care of my own hair has evolved into over 12 years of passion, creativity, and connection—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. This industry has given me the freedom to express my artistic spirit, the space to grow as an individual, and the privilege of helping others to feel confident, authentic, and just a little more extraordinary in their own skin.

Whether it's through a new hairstyle, or simply a moment of self-reflection sparked by a conversation, these small acts serve as powerful reminders of our inherent worth and potential. It's those reminders that help us gain a new appreciation for who we truly are.

Art

Growing up, art was my sanctuary. A natural talent that I gravitated toward effortlessly. But sharing my creations? That was a different story. It took years to find the courage to put my work on display. Art became my voice when words fell short, a way to express what I couldn’t say or do.

To confront this fear, I spent seven years as a live artist, starting small with local shows and 'hometown throwdowns,' gradually building up to larger festivals as my confidence grew. That journey is why I’ll always encourage anyone, no matter their age, to pick up a brush and let their creativity speak.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Creative blocks can be tough, sometimes lasting years. During one of those times, I picked up a disposable camera—yes, this was pre digital, and started snapping photos without a second thought. Through the lens, I discovered a new way to share my deep love and admiration for the natural world around us.

Over time, much like anything else I explore, photography transformed into yet another form of self-expression. It became a tool to not only preserve those fleeting moments but also to remind myself—and others—that wonder exists in the everyday. Sometimes, all it takes is seeing life from a different angle to appreciate it fully.
